NORTHEAST HEAT WAVE DOESN'T STOP NANUET VOLUNTEERS AT VAN FIRE |

At 1:18pm on Tuesday afternoon, Nanuet FD was alerted to respond to the Stop n Shop parking lot on Middletown Rd for a working vehicle fire.
Despite temperatures hovering above 95 degrees, crews from 8-EQ made quick work of the van fire, which also extended to the surrounding brush.
All units returned to normal service within the hour. |
